I teach English individually or in small groups to adults and children of all nationalities online, anywhere in the world or in person.

I have been teaching English as a foreign language for 14 years, mainly to French speaking students including children from age 4 and above to adults. I teach individual lessons or sometimes in small groups with the aim of providing a grounded learning experience but in a nurturing and supportive environment. I am native English and my son is half Italian, I speak basic Italian and French a little better but I have a very good grasp of both cultures.

All of my lessons are personalised with my teaching style being full immersion and pupil/client led. If my student needs to work on something in particular one week, whether it is in preparation for a business meeting or English homework for school; then that is what we will do and drop everything else. I usually set homework for students as this helps with focus but of course it is up to each individual if they wish to commit to this. I work with all levels from beginner to advanced.

I prepare all of my lessons myself, some students have reading books and some have Grammar workbooks. It depends on the level and individual requirements. We will usually have a few goals in mind for the lessons including some of these topics:
