I teach English individually or in small groups to adults and children of all nationalities online, anywhere in the world or in person.

I am mother tongue English from the South East of the United Kingdom and have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2011 when I moved to Paris, France. In Paris I gave private English lessons to adults, including doctors and lawyers and children after school, separately or sometimes in small groups. In 2022, I returned to England with my son and dog.

All lessons are personalised to the student, my teaching style is full immersion and pupil led in the sense that if my student needs to work on something in particular one week, whether it is in preparation for a meeting or English homework; then that is what we will do and drop everything else. I usually set homework for students as this helps with focus but of course it is up to each individual if they wish to commit to this.

I prepare all of my lessons myself, some students have reading books and some have Grammar workbooks. It depends on the level and individual requirements. We will usually have a few goals in mind for the lessons including some of these topics:
